Tour Highlights

It’s a luxurious tour that allows you to enjoy historic shrines, tropical rainforest, sandy beaches, valleys, all in one day.

If you’re lucky, you may encounter wild monkeys or deer.

A local professional guide will show you the best spots.

In the summer, you can also swim in the stream!

Course Schedule

• 8:30 AM – Departure from the accommodation.
• 9:00 AM – We will visit and pay our respects at a forest shrines.
• 10:00AM – Isso beach
• 10:30AM – Inaka Hama beach:
  　　　　　This is a sandy beach famous for loggerhead sea turtle 　　　　nesting.
• 11:00AM -To recharge with the abundance of negative ions in Yokogawa Gorge.
• 11:50AM-1:00PM We’re going to explore the Seibu Forest Road by car, driving through the beautiful World Natural Heritage area.
• 1:30 PM – We’ll take in the awe-inspiring sight of Ookono Falls and then have a boxed lunch by the beach.
• 3:00PM-Following the breathtaking view of Senpiro Falls, we’ll visit a souvenir shop.
• 4:00PM-4:30PM – Arrival at the accomodation.

The order of our sightseeing may change based on where you stay.

For your stay, we recommend choosing a place between Miyanoura and Anbo areas

Forest shrine “Ushidoko-moisho”

This shrine is dedicated to the deity of Yakushima’s mountains, who is revered as a god of mountain worship.

Isso beach

Inakahama beach
This is a sandy beach famous for loggerhead sea turtle nesting.
This area is recognized as a Ramsar site of international importance.

The Ramsar Convention is an international agreement aimed at protecting wetlands and the wildlife that depend on them.

Yokko Valley
To recharge with the abundance of negative ions.
You can swim here in the summer, too! Just remember your swimsuit and towel.

Sometimes you can see monkeys grooming each other.

You might also see some deer, too.

Attire for participating in the tour

• A long-sleeve T-shirt and long pants with stretchability(This outfit will shield your skin from bugs and the sun UV damage.)
• A lightweight down sweater, required depending on the season.
• If you want to swim, please wear your swimsuit beforehand.　(summer season）
